As we begin a new League year, I am honored to serve as President of the Junior League of Tucson and excited about the future we are building together.

Over the past year, I have watched our League flourish. From defining our impact statement, fostering confidence and dignity for women and families in Southern Arizona, to expanding Touch a Truck and strengthening our commitment to advancing women’s leadership, I am more energized than ever about the work ahead.

With our centennial on the horizon, I find myself asking: Who do we want to be in 2033, and how will we get there?

These questions are at the heart of this year’s theme: Leading Forward.

Leading Forward means honoring our proud history while intentionally building the future we envision. Guided by our new strategic plan, we will focus on five key pillars: Mission Delivery; Financial Growth and Stability; Marketing and Community Visibility; Membership; and Governance and Leadership. Together, these priorities will strengthen the member experience, deepen community partnerships, increase awareness of our impact, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our League.

None of this can be achieved alone. It will take the dedication of our members, the wisdom of our sustainers, and our shared belief that our greatest impact still lies ahead.

I am excited to see what we accomplish together as we Lead Forward, developing women leaders and deepening our impact across the Southern Arizona community we proudly serve.
