Cinderella’s Closet
The Junior League of Tucson proudly operates Cinderella’s Closet, a program dedicated to providing free formalwear and accessories to teenagers in Southern Arizona. We believe that every student deserves to attend their school dances—whether it’s homecoming, winter formal, or prom (or other special events!)—without financial barriers standing in the way.
How It Works
Students can shop at no cost to select dresses and accessories, ensuring they have a magical and memorable evening with their friends. Since Spring 2023, we have helped over 2,000 teenagers find their perfect outfit!
New Formalwear Boutique – Now Open!
We have expanded access with a permanent boutique located on the Junior League of Tucson campus. This space allows students to shop outside of our larger events, making it easier than ever to find the perfect dress.
How to Shop
Students, families, schools, and groups can reserve an appointment 7 days a week by contacting cinderellascloset@juniorleagueoftucson.org with their preferred dates and times.
Flexible Scheduling: We are happy to serve during the day, evening, and on weekends.
Group Events Welcome: Schools and organizations can arrange special shopping events for large groups—let us know how we can help ensure every student finds the dress of their dreams!

Support Cinderella’s Closet by:
Donating Dresses – Drop off gently used formalwear at any Tucson Area Sparkle Cleaners
Hosting a Dress Drive – Organize a formalwear donation drive at your school or workplace.
Making a Monetary Donation – Help us maintain our boutique and ensure we have a diverse range of dress sizes so that no student leaves empty-handed. Donate here!
